The signing is reportedly scheduled for December.

“A major defense pact will allow countries to strengthen cooperation with the United States in the Indo-Pacific region and strengthen containment of the growing threat from China,” the report said.

After the signing, it will be easier to conduct joint exercises, interaction in the field of logistics between countries, bureaucratic procedures will be excluded when transferring troops from one country to another.
