During this season, Sochi was led by Alexander Tochilin and Vadim Garanin. For the team, which is the silver medalist of the last RPL season, the current draw of the tournament is not going well. The team is in 9th place in the championship with 25 points. From the Cup of Russia, the Sochi residents flew out at the group stage, taking the last, 4th place in their quartet.
