Strongmen from settlements of the Novgorod region and other Russian regions gathered at the competitions in Pankovka.
In the absolute championship among men, Alexander Lukin (180 kg) won gold, Mikhail Ivannik (182.5 kg) took second place, and Pavel Zubarev (155 kg) took bronze.
Among women, Svetlana Lukina (92.5 kg) became the winner, Natalya Krikunova (60 kg) was on the second step of the podium, Ekaterina Matyukhina (60 kg) took third place.
Boys and girls also took part in the competition.
