Belgorod volleyball players won two victories in the semifinals of the Russian Cup

The semi-final stage of the National Cup among men’s volleyball teams with the participation of VC “Belogorye” has started in Moscow. On November 4, the athletes met with the owners of the site and the main favorite of the semi-final stage – the capital’s “Dynamo”.
Despite all the pre-match layouts, the guests were able to win over the Muscovites in three sets 25:22, 27:25 and 25:23, respectively. A day earlier, Boris Kolchin’s wards met with the Kemerovo “Kuzbass”. The meeting turned out to be tense and ended in four games. The starting set was left for the “lions” – 25:22, however, in the second game segment, the Kemerovo team was better – 27:25. The fate of the third game was decided in the game “on balance” – 31 vs 29, and the end of the next set and the whole match were won by the Belgorod team – 25:20 and 3-1 in games. The best player among the winners was Mohamed Al-Khachdadi, who scored 31 points.
In the final round, Belgorod will meet with Orenburg volleyball players and, in case of any victory, they will qualify for the final part of the tournament. It will be held in Novy Urengoy at the end of December.
