The chief veterinarian of the Belgorod region, Artem Medvedev, said that experts had responded to the appeal of a resident of Belgorod, who reported suspicious pigeons. As previously reported, the woman turned to the governor, demanding to check a box of birds thrown on one of the streets of the city. In a message to the head of the region, the lady reminded that “There are biological laboratories 40 km from Belgorod” and that “it is very likely that this is biological terrorism.”
According to the chief Belgorod veterinarian, specialists from the city station for combating animal diseases went to the scene of the emergency, “sampled the biomaterial” and sent the samples “for further research.”
“The results of the research will be known later,” – declared veterinarian “Rise”.
