Belgorod hockey youth team exchanged victories with Sokol Kursk

In Gubkin, at the Kristall sports palace, matches of the regular championship of the NMHL were held, in which the Belgorod youth hockey team hosted their peers from Kursk – HC Sokol. Due to the high level of terrorist threat, home matches were moved from the Belgorod “Orange Ice”.
In the first meeting, the Belgorod team lost to their geographical neighbors with a score of 2:4, and in the second match they managed to take revenge from the Kursk team, winning 5:2 with a difference of three goals. Belgorod mentor Andrei Romanov after the fights noted that his wards fought on equal terms with Sokol.
After a dozen matches, the Belgorod team has only 7 points and the ninth line in the standings of their conference. The next games of the national championship Andrey Romanov’s wards will play away on November 8 and 9 against Proton from Novovoronezh, and three days later they will go to Bobrov to meet with the local EkoNiva.
