Belgorod governor announced the shelling of the village Grafovka

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fired at the center of the village of Grafovka in the Shebekinsky urban district. About it told Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

He clarified that the shelling was carried out from the Grad MLRS. Shells fell near the school, the House of Culture, as well as in the private sector. A utility building was damaged, facades and windows were cut in two houses.

As a result of the shelling, no one was injured, operational services are working on the spot, Gladkov added.

In the daily summary of shelling for June 6, Gladkov toldthat a total of 460 units of various ammunition were fired in the Shebekinsky urban district, and 26 explosive devices were dropped from drones. The villages of Bezlyudovka, Murom, Novaya Tavolzhanka, Surkovo and the Gordyushkin farm came under fire. There were no casualties.

Over the past few weeks, the border areas of the Belgorod region have been subjected to regular massive shelling. On June 4, the governor said that in Novaya Tavolzhanka there were battles with the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG). Later, the Ministry of Defense reported that the enemy was “scattered and retreated.” June 6 Governor assuredthat there is no enemy on the territory of the Belgorod region, including in Novaya Tavolzhanka.

There are more than 8,000 people in Belgorod temporary accommodation centers (TACs), who were forced to leave the border areas due to shelling, told Gladkov.
