The mayor of Belgorod announced an additional purchase of 100 protective modules
Mayor of Belgorod Valentin Demidov reported in his Telegram channel that the city authorities, in connection with attacks on the region from Ukraine, plan to purchase an additional 100 protective modules.
According to him, this decision was made by the decision of the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. Protective modules will be installed in public places in Belgorod, which are subject to shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The application for the manufacture of structures has already been submitted. We expect delivery within 20 days. As the modules are manufactured, we will immediately install them… The decision to strengthen… locations with the highest traffic is timely. Today people managed to hide in a modular structure. It was cut from the outside fragments, but all the townspeople inside were saved,” Demidov wrote.
