Belgorod authorities denied the eviction of residents of border areas from new apartments

The Ministry of Construction of the Belgorod Region has denied information from social networks that residents of the border areas of the region are being deprived of apartments given to them in connection with resettlement from dangerous areas. The federal budget allocated 9.4 billion rubles to the region. for the purchase of new housing for those who suffered from shelling by Ukraine.

Officials called unreliable the message about the inhabitants of the village of Zhuravlevka, in which an emergency regime (ES) was introduced last year. IN message it is said that the new apartments given to them were sold long ago, and they are trying to evict people.

The Ministry of Construction of the Belgorod Region in its Telegram channel reported that no appeals or facts of eviction of residents from the apartments they bought were recorded: verified in accordance with the law. After that, it is redeemed as the property of the region, and only after that an agreement is concluded with new homeowners. According to officials, such a mechanism eliminates any problems for the owners of the purchased premises.

The authorities promise to resolve the issue of resettlement of citizens from areas exposed to shelling before the end of the year. As of last week, 1,748 households were hit by shells. More than 970 people have decided on new housing, 512 have chosen specific premises.
