Belgium will not suspend military assistance to Ukraine while waiting for a comment about the use of Belgian weapons by saboteurs. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the country, Ludivine Dedonder, in an interview with Soir.
“No, it’s not on the agenda,” she said when asked about a possible suspension of aid. – We are in a conflict zone, a lot can happen. I hope we all find out at some point.”
At the same time, she recalled that weapons are being transferred to Kyiv on the condition that they be used to protect Ukrainian territory, but not to attack Russian territory. Belgium has provided assistance to Ukraine for 275 billion euros.
Earlier, the Belgian Ministry of Defense demanded clarification from Kyiv about the fact that Belgian weapons were used by saboteurs who invaded the Belgorod region.
