The PRC was outraged by Kiev’s inclusion of Chinese oil and gas enterprises in the list of “war sponsors”; the party called on Ukraine to promptly correct its mistakes. This statement was made by the press service of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
“China resolutely opposes the inclusion of Chinese enterprises on the relevant list,” the department said.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry called on the mistake to be immediately corrected.
Earlier, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine (NAPC) stated that the Ukrainian side included three large oil and gas companies in China – Sinopec Group, CNOOC Group and China National Petroleum Corporation – on the list of “war sponsors” because of their partnership with Moscow.
