Alexander Beglov visited the “Christmas Tree of Wishes” during the St. Petersburg Day at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”. The Governor of St. Petersburg will fulfill the dreams of several children.
As part of the “Christmas Tree of Wishes,” the dreams of orphans and children from disadvantaged families come true. Russian President Vladimir Putin was the first to remove several balls from the magic Christmas tree. He fulfilled the wish of a schoolgirl from St. Petersburg who dreamed of trying herself as a news anchor. The girl was invited to Moscow, where, among other things, she visited an exhibition at VDNKh.
The governor of St. Petersburg followed the example of the president and also took part in the action. Previously, he removed five postcards from the “Wish Tree” installed in St. Petersburg, and today six more from the Christmas tree at VDNKh.
“Today, as always, according to our tradition, we will fulfill the wishes of children who are in difficult situations, disabled children, and, of course, children from our sister city of Mariupol,” noted Alexander Beglov.
Children dream about different things. One of the cards, shot by Alexander Beglov, showed the desire of 16-year-old Stanislav, who wants to visit the “Ball” studio of the Match TV channel. Another card is from five-year-old Nikolai, he would like to receive a synthesizer as a gift. 15-year-old Mark from Mariupol dreams of sneakers, and six-year-old Zlata dreams of a drawing set. Ten-year-old Oleg asked for a piano bench, and 15-year-old Fedor asked for a microscope.
“Guys, all your wishes will come true, have a good New Year!” – said the governor.
