The Ukrainian media spread a message that the finalist of the beauty contest in the Crimea, Olga Valeeva, sang the song “Chervona Kalina”. In Russia, this composition is considered by a number of politicians to be the unofficial anthem of Ukrainian nationalists. In Bakhchisarai, for example, wedding participants were punished under the Code of Administrative Offenses for this song was played at a private event.
As reported, a video with Valeeva singing was published on the social network by her friend, while she put a geotag – Simferopol. The media noticed that by now the publication has been deleted, but another video with Valeeva, filmed in the same setting, remains in the same account.
In the video, two women are sitting on the balcony at a table on which there are two bottles of a low-alcohol cocktail. Women look at each other and discordantly, but diligently display the words “Kalina” a cappella.
Valeeva gained some fame in the Crimea and not only after the spring competition. A 34-year-old resident of Simferopol won the title “Mrs. Beauty Queen – Crimea”. Then Valeeva faced a wave of criticism – evil tongues discussed and condemned her appearance, there were versions of “bribery of the jury.”
