On March 1, the brown bear Malysh came out of hibernation at the Chelyabinsk Zoo, informs city edition of Good News.
According to the zoo staff, Malysh tried to get a rubber tire out from under the snow (this is the bear’s favorite toy), but he was not strong enough to clear the snow blockages out of habit.
Therefore, the Kid decided that he needed to eat, employees say. The zoo did not prepare for the awakening of the bear, did not prepare food for it, so the animal “had” to look for food under a layer of snow on its own.
According to the source, Malysh will now prepare for spring and spend time with visitors to the zoo.
Recall that on Tuesday, February 28, brown bears woke up in the Sakhalin Zoo-Botanical Park: Yulia, Masha and Ivan have been leading an active lifestyle for the past week.
The zoo noted that the animals feel good: they eat, play and enjoy the already warm rays of the sun.
