Beach holidays at the end of May: the most budgetary routes became known

There are surprises in the ranking of cheap tours

Even European destinations unexpectedly got into the number of cheaper routes, despite the difficult flight, – this is reported by the compilers of the hit parade of budget routes, who have studied all the tourist offers at the end of May in terms of beach holidays. We were curious about what dreams of those whose vacation fell at the end of May are quite feasible.

To identify leaders in affordability, experts analyzed prices for ten-day package tours with departures at the end of May. The results of the study were presented to ATOR with the remark that almost all bookings by Russians for vacations abroad fell on 5 leading countries – Turkey (58% of all bookings), Egypt (19%), Russia (11%), UAE (10%) and Cuba (4%).

Turkey managed to keep the first place in terms of affordability, including because after the scandalous statements of Erdogan’s opponent in the elections about the country’s likely accession to anti-Russian sanctions, many hotels lowered prices in order to retain a valuable Russian client. Because of this, the demand for the Turkish Riviera among Russians has even increased by 14% since the May holidays. The cheapest tour to a Turkish resort, discovered by analysts, costs less than 58 thousand rubles. for two in 10 days with a flight, but this is a “three-ruble note” only with breakfast. The most budgetary tour to an all-inclusive hotel invites you to Antalya for 102 thousand rubles. for two. Conclusion: at the end of May in Turkey, you can find cheaper offers than for the same period in Sochi and Anapa. For example, 10 days of rest on the Aegean coast of Turkey in a 3-star hotel – 56 thousand rubles. for two, and in Anapa – from 59 thousand rubles.

But Greece is on the heels of Turkey, however, adjusted for stardom: the cheapest Turkish “five” at the end of May will cost tourists 100 thousand rubles. for two with a flight, for the same amount in the same period you can relax in Greece, but in the “three rubles”, but the flight with all transfers is included in the tour price.

– Formally, Greece could share the 1st place with Turkey, – they comment in the capital’s travel agency working with this country. – But the matter is complicated by the need for a Schengen visa, which requires additional investments and expectations. And by and large, now getting a Schengen lottery, which many do not want to play before the holidays.

“Silver” for the availability of tours at native resorts. The cheapest options for organized holidays at sea, discovered by experts, are offered in the Crimea. For example, accommodation by the sea in the village of Novy Svet costs only 14 thousand rubles. for two for 10 nights with breakfast. If the tour is based on the railway transfer Moscow – Simferopol back and forth plus two taxis from Simferopol to the New World, the tour will cost 42,154 thousand rubles. for two. In second place 10 days in Sochi for 45.5 thousand rubles. for two, on the third – Abkhazia (from 46.5 thousand rubles for all the same).

And Cyprus, despite the flight through Kuwait, unexpectedly got out on the third place of the pedestal of cheapness: 70.3 thousand rubles. for two for 10 days in a “kopeck piece” with breakfast. The closest “beach” competitor of Cyprus in terms of the cost of tours for Russians is the United Arab Emirates, where you can relax together by the sea for 10 days at the end of May for 82 thousand rubles. In Egypt, which this spring gave way to its usual place in the accessibility rating for Russians right behind Turkey, the lowest price bar for 10 days on the Red Sea for two with a departure at the end of May is from 95 thousand rubles.

– And whoever has enough for Egypt at the end of May, he can already choose, – they say in a domestic travel agency working with Southeast Asia. – 10 days in Goa and Sri Lanka – from 130 thousand rubles. for two with a flight, Thailand from 150 thousand rubles, Maldives from 200 thousand rubles. The Maldives, by the way, by the end of the season are very much cheaper. Now tickets for a direct round-trip flight can be found for 60 thousand for two. Another question is that it is rather risky to go to the Maldives on your own, individual tourism is not held in high esteem there, all the infrastructure, including beaches, belongs to hotels, and they don’t settle there “from the street”, only in an organized manner. Everywhere has its own specifics, which fans of Egypt should know when choosing a country in Southeast Asia for the same money. In Goa and Sri, there are no all-inclusive hotels in principle, but in Thailand there are few of them and they belong to the most expensive segment. Such a format of recreation in these countries is generally not particularly accepted. But in the Maldives, almost all hotels are arranged this way, even if you only have breakfast included, the main rest takes place on the territory of the hotel. Each hotel occupies a separate island, and excursions to neighboring islands and to the capital Male in the Maldives are not accepted. Since the tourist segment there is luxury, and in places where locals live, everything is more than modest.

On the other side of the ocean, for about the same money, Cuba invites at the end of May – from 150 thousand rubles for two with a flight. If we compare not with the cheapest, but with the average, most demanded among Russians tours to the “proven five” (10 days in the “average” Antalya 180 thousand rubles for two, in the UAE 187 thousand rubles), then many will not be sorry spend 12 and a half hours on a direct flight from Moscow to see the Caribbean blue of Liberty Island with your own eyes.
