Beach football players of Kuban won the RFU Cup “Our Shift”

Kuban juniors won the RFU Beach Soccer Cup “Our Shift”. Competitions among teams born in 2011 – 2012 were held in the capital of the country this fall.

According to the results of the tournament, Kuban became the leader. Previously, victories in the RFU Cup “Our Smena” among teams born in 2009 – 2010 were achieved by students of the Academy of PFC “Krasnodar-YMR”, and boys under 21 won “silver”.

Thus, for the first time, the region’s beach football players managed to become winners of all children’s and youth competitions organized under the auspices of the RFU. In total, 10 best teams from different regions of the Russian Federation and Belarus tried their hand at competitions among children’s teams born in 2011 – 2012 within the framework of the Moscow International Cup 2023. The Academy of PFC “Krasnodar-YMR” and the “Tiger” team, assembled from players from the reserve training system of the Krasnodar club and students from the youth sports school “Yunost” of the Belorechensky municipality, played for Kuban.

Representatives of both teams made it through the group stage and took part in the semi-finals. In the final matches, “Tiger” performed better, reaching the end and winning the RFU “Our Shift” Cup. In the game for first place, the Kuban team beat Zvezda from the Yaroslavl region with a score of 3:2.

Earlier, “MK in Kuban” said that in September in Anapa, sum up the results of the country’s Beach Soccer Cup. In total, 20 teams from different regions of the country came to the competition. The residents of St. Petersburg took the “gold” home.
