Baza: the court gave 5 years to a mobilized man who faked his death

According to the Baza Telegram channel, a mobilized local resident who faked his own death was convicted in Buryatia.
As noted in the report, Zorigto Arabzhaev was mobilized in September 2022 and went to the special operation zone. At the beginning of March, he came home on a 10-day vacation. However, after its expiration, he did not return to service.
When military police officers came to his home, Arabzhaev’s son showed them his father’s death certificate.
It was later established that the document was fake, which the man bought from an unknown person. When they came to see him again in May of this year, they found him at home and detained him.
On November 2, the Ulan-Ude Garrison Military Court sentenced Arabzhaev to 5 years in a maximum security colony for desertion, the publication says.
