Battle of the Clubs: a large-scale sports project in Tula will last until the end of 2023

On the eve of the project “Battle of Clubs” started in Tula. It will be implemented on the basis of the Tula Arena sports center. The project is a regional sports competition between sports clubs throughout the Tula region. They are held under the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” within the framework of the national project “Demography” until the end of this year.
The Minister of Sports of the Tula Region Dmitry Yakovlev greeted the participants of the project. He stressed that the head of the Tula region, Alexei Dyumin, pays great attention to the promotion of physical culture and sports, and the creation and development of sports clubs in itself is one of the instructions of the head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin. And “Battle of Clubs” is a unique project in the implementation of the tasks set.
“We brought together representatives of sports clubs of enterprises, schools, colleges, we launched the project with the GTO Games. I am sure that each of the participants will be a great example for the residents of the Tula region,” said Dmitry Yakovlev, addressing the guests and participants of the competition.
As part of the opening, photo zones, face painting, tastings worked for guests and participants; the cover band “Gingerbread Band” performed, a drawing of gifts took place
It should be noted that “Battle of Clubs” is the first regional sports project between sports clubs in 3×3 basketball, volleyball, paintball, mini-football, tag rugby and TRP. More than 80 clubs and teams take part in the sports festival, including teams formed on the basis of enterprises in the Tula region. The sports festival brought together more than two thousand sports fans and adherents of a healthy lifestyle.
All teams participating in the Battle of the Clubs were actively preparing for the competition before the start of the project. To show the best result, they trained for free at the Fitness Park, which acted as a partner.
In April, the participants of the games will pass the TRP, from April to November – mini-football competitions, tag rugby falls in May, basketball and paintball – in September and October, respectively. In December, all leagues will take part in volleyball competitions.
