The actor saw bullet marks
For several days now, the country has been remembering the terrible events of September – October 1993, which took place in Moscow. As it turns out, Russian stars remember them too. Especially those who were in the center of the capital at that time. Sergei Batalov, known for numerous films and TV series (“Shirley Myrli”, “Old Ladies on the Run”, “Team B”, etc.), shared his memories of this period.
“I served at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, Sergei Zhenovach and I rehearsed. You know how it happens: theater is separate, life is separate… And I remember that Irina Yuryevna Rozanova was filming Ostankino during these events. And when they shot, she was lying on the floor.
And then I was visiting Vladimir Ivanov, an actor at the Vakhtangov Theater. He is also a director and teacher at the Shchukin School. His house overlooked the White House, and he showed me the bullet holes. It was scary,” the actor told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
