Bastrykin spoke about corruption cases in the defense industry

According to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin, in 2022, 60 officials who worked in the military-industrial complex were brought to criminal responsibility in cases of corruption, and another 250 people for crimes in the implementation of government contracts.
Bastrykin told RIA Novosti that during this year the courts received more than 8.7 thousand cases of corruption offenses in the defense sector, which is 10% more than in the same period last year.
“Сотрудники СК РФ подготовили материалы, по которым к угoлoвнoй oтвeтствeннoсти привлeчeны 60 дoлжностных лиц, совершивших кoррупциoнныe прeступлeния в oбoроннo-прoмышленнoм кoмплексе, и 250 — в сфeрe гoсконтрактoв и госзакупок, в том числе 27 — при реализации гoсударственногo oбoрoннoгo зaказa”, — подчеркнул глава departments.
