Bastrykin: Investigative Committee recorded a slowdown in the growth of the number of corruption crimes in Russia

In an interview with RIA Novosti, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin noted positive trends in the fight against corruption in the country.
According to him, there is a slowdown in the growth of corruption crimes, now this figure does not exceed 3%.
Bastrykin stressed that this became possible thanks to the systematic and well-coordinated work of law enforcement agencies. He noted that the number of investigated cases of corruption for the current period is approximately 4.3 thousand cases, which is comparable to the figures for the same period last year.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee expressed confidence that cooperation with other law enforcement agencies contributes to the achievement of a gradual reduction in the level of corruption in the country.
