Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Alexander Bastrykin demanded to check the statement of the presenter Anton Krasovsky on the RT channel, who called for “drowning and burning Ukrainian children.” This was reported in the press service of the RF IC.
After Krasovsky conducted an interview with the writer Sergei Lukyanenko, he was removed from the air. Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the RT TV channel and Rossiya Segodnya MIA, spoke about the removal of the presenter.
The journalist also called the words of the RT employee “wild and disgusting.”
“It is hard to believe that Krasovsky sincerely believed that children should be drowned. At the moment, I am stopping our cooperation, ”Simonyan wrote in her Telegram channel.
