Bastrykin called traitors the Russians who criticize the army from abroad

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, in an interview with TASS, said that well-known citizens of the Russian Federation who left the country and criticize the Russian army from abroad are traitors.
“Having made their well-being in Russia, including at the expense of compatriots, they left … – said Bastrykin. – And then they began to give impartial assessments from abroad <...> You can’t call them anything other than traitors.”
He expressed the opinion that popular personalities with a large audience should be morally responsible “for what information they bring to society.”
