The Russian national basketball team held a friendly match in Serbia against the local club Mega. The game was held in Belgrade and ended with the victory of the Russians with a score of 85:74 (21:18, 16:14, 26:21, 22:21).
4 basketball players from Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban played for the national team. They made a significant contribution to the final success. Anton Kvitkovskikh from Krasnodar became the most productive player in the team – 17 points. Andrey Martyuk scored 16 points, plus made 6 rebounds. Vladislav Yemchenko has 9 points and 3 rebounds, Alexander Shcherbenev chalked up 2 points.
Zakhar Vedischev, who passed the training camp in Novogorsk together with the rest of Krasnodar, did not get into the application for the match.
On February 23, the Russian team will play one more match in Serbia – against the FMP club.
