Basketball players from Oryol won bronze in the Premier Division “Center”

OryolSU basketball players became bronze medalists in the Higher Division “Center”. The final stage of the tournament took place in Vologda.
The Oryol team defeated BelGAU with a score of 89:72 at the preliminary stage, and then were defeated by St. Petersburg Zenit-LSU with a score of 73:88.
In the bronze medal match, OryolSU defeated the team from Voronezh (VGAS) with a score of 91:84, with a brilliant performance by Daniil Plotnikov, who scored 23 points for the team.
In addition, two of our basketball players were included in the symbolic five of the tournament. Artem Vasin distinguished himself as the best defender, and Daniil Plotnikov was recognized as the best forward.
