Basketball players from Essentuki became bronze medalists of the Regional Championship

The Spartak sports complex in Essentuki gathered 12 teams as part of the Stavropol Basketball Championship, the press service of the city mayor’s office said.
Athletes from Essentuki, Stavropol, Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Budyonnovsk and the Predgorny District fought for the right to become the best at the resort.
Following the results of the game, the team of coaches Natalya Ukraintseva and Maria Semenova also received bronze. The Essentuchan team beat athletes from Kislovodsk and Pyatigorsk, but lost to senior teams from Budyonnovsk, the regional and district capitals.
“The championship was attended by teams in 2007. Most of our players born in 2009-10. The guys were able to compete with their senior opponents and show an excellent result, ”said Mikhail Voznyuk, a sports school coach in gaming sports Essentukov.
It was previously reported that Kislovodsk athletes won 94 medals at regional kickboxing competitions.
