For the first time in history, the Kaliningrad club “Baltic Storm” became the leader of the Russian snow rugby championship.
The competition took place in the Moscow region. The players of Vyacheslav Kobzev’s coaching staff met with the Samara region team.
“Baltic Storm is the winner of the Russian Snow Rugby Cup. In the final, the Kaliningraders beat the team of the Samara region,” said the Russian Rugby Federation.
A total of 18 teams met during the championship. Kaliningrad athletes fought with “Army”, “Fili”, “VVA” and “Dynamo”.
“Baltic Storm” earlier won first victory in Major League Rugby. Kaliningraders fought against a team from St. Petersburg.
