Governor of the Zaporozhye region Evgeniy Balitsky in his Telegram channel reported that on Thursday at about 19:00 there was an emergency shutdown at the Fedorovka traction power substation.
“At about 19:00 there was an emergency shutdown at the Fedorovka traction substation,” Balitsky wrote.
He emphasized that as a result of the accident, 62 thousand residents of Energodar, as well as Vasilievsky, Kamensko-Dneprovsky and Mikhailovsky districts were left without electricity.
According to him, special teams are working to resolve the problems. He noted that, according to information from specialists, citizens should expect a full restoration of electricity on December 1.
