The village of Rabotino is listed on the map, but physically no longer exists – the settlement is completely destroyed. This statement was made by the Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky on the air of Channel One.
“Work, in principle, does not exist. This is only a mapped settlement, and in nature there is no such settlement anymore, because there were such fierce battles that there are only skeletons of houses and destroyed structures, ”he explained (quote according to TASS).
According to Balitsky, Rabotino is in a “grey zone”. Neither Russian troops nor the Armed Forces of Ukraine remain in it, since the village is under artillery shelling. At the same time, on August 21, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said that the Russian Armed Forces continue to hold positions in Rabotino. Information about the transition of the settlement under the control of Ukraine is a fake, he stressed.
The Ministry of Defense regularly reports on attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the village and gain a foothold in it. August 23 Russian military reflected four enemy attacks in the Rabotino area. Earlier on August 25, the Ministry of Defense reported about the destruction of the ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village.
August 22 Rogov pointed outthat heavy fighting is going on in Rabotino. According to him, Russian troops drove the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the center of the village, the enemy is on the northern outskirts of the village.
The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the hostilities, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting active offensive operations since the beginning of June this year. The Kremlin has repeatedly stated about the lack of success of the Ukrainian army and pointed to the heavy losses of the enemy.
