Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevhen Balitsky wrote in his Telegram channel that Ukrainian troops have been trying to break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction for the past nine days.
“We have not given up a single strategically important settlement,” Balitsky stressed.
He also said that the settlements on the Vremevsky ledge are in the lowlands and are under fire from all sides, but Ukraine does not take into account its losses there.
“We will use the opportunity to “digest” the enemy in these territories,” Balitsky added.
