The main activities for the integration of the Kherson region into the Russian Federation system, including the financial, credit and legal systems, have been completed. This was announced by the regional governor Vladimir Saldo.
“The legislative, executive, local (municipal), judicial authorities, regional bodies of almost all federal ministries and departments work,” said Mr. Saldo “RIA News”.
Improvement of integration measures will continue until the beginning of 2026. By 2030, the governor specified, the Kherson region will reach the all-Russian level of socio-economic development.
After joining the Russian Federation following a referendum held in September 2022, the region repaired 40 km of the street road network in five regional centers and 110 km of regional roads. 17 schools were also renovated and two new playgrounds were built.
