77 people have already been hospitalized from the flooded territories of the Kherson region. Vladimir Saldo, acting head of the region, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
He also warned that the situation downstream of Novaya Kakhovka was gradually returning to normal. According to him, the water level in the Golopristansky municipal district dropped to 2.1 meters, in the Aleshkinsky municipal district – up to one and a half meters, in the Novokakhovsk urban district – up to seven meters.
The balance also specified that more than seven thousand people have already been evacuated from the flooded areas, including 323 children and 112 people with limited mobility. At the same time, about one and a half thousand people are now in temporary accommodation centers.
The official stressed that, despite the ongoing shelling, rescue work continues. And he thanked everyone who takes part in them – from rescuers and the military to volunteers and employees of military-civilian administrations.
