Baku protested to the US, Germany and France over financial transactions

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry published a statement on its website saying that today the charge d’affaires of the United States and Germany, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary of France, were summoned to the department.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry protested to them in connection with illegal financial transactions carried out by the news portal AbzasMedia with the participation of a number of organizations registered in the USA, Germany and France.
At the same time, Baku believes that embassies of Western countries were also involved in this activity. In particular, Azerbaijan was unhappy that various Western foundations were transferring funds to AbzasMedia’s activities in violation of grant rules.
