Bagdasarov criticized Kazakhstan for agreement with Turkish intelligence

Kazakhstan has approved a protocol with Turkey on cooperation in the field of military intelligence. The well-known political scientist Semyon Bagdasarov commented on this news. According to him, “the purpose of the protocol is to define the obligations, conditions and procedure for the exchange of intelligence military information between the two countries. “This is more serious than any integration in the cultural or economic spheres,” Bagdasarov said in the Telegram channel.

The political scientist recalled that we are talking about Russia’s military-political ally in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), and also that it was Russia that came to the aid of the Kazakh authorities during the mass protests in January 2022.

“The agreement between a NATO member and a CSTO member in the military sphere proves that the CSTO is a virtual organization. While everyone is distracted by the topic of Ukraine, NATO, represented by Turkey, continues its active work in Central Asia,” concludes Bagdasarov.

As you know, the head of Kazakhstan at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum stated that his country does not recognize the independence of the DPR and LPR.
