AZUR Air will carry Russian tourists to Egypt

All next week from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh instead of the Turkish airline Southwind Airlines. AZUR Air will fly. This was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

The first flights have already departed from Vnukovo airport on March 30. The association clarified that the flight schedule will be specified later, but confirmation of the replacement of the carrier has already been received.

Previously flight bans Southwind Airlines entered the territory of the EU countries into the European Union. The organization referred to the sanctions regulations introducing restrictions in connection with the SVO.

ATOR said that after the ban on Southwind Airlines flights, difficulties arose for tourists flying to Egypt on flights under the Air Cairo code.

The travelers stuck in Egypt were rescued, they flew home on an updated route – over Turkey and Georgia – and successfully landed in Moscow.
