Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will pay a working visit to Russia, reported in the press service of the country’s foreign ministry.
“On December 4, 2022, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov left on a business trip to the Russian Federation. During the visit, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and will take part in bilateral events,” the message says.
On November 30, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced Bayramov’s upcoming visit to Moscow. About it wrote “RIA News”. Zakharova explained that the ministers will discuss the development of relations in the context of the declaration on allied cooperation signed by the leaders of the two countries on February 22, 2022. Bayramov and Lavrov will also discuss “a number of topical regional and international issues”, including the implementation of trilateral agreements between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“We are considering the upcoming visit of D.A. Bayramov in the context of continuing the confidential Russian-Azerbaijani political dialogue and further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation,” – reported earlier in the Russian Foreign Ministry.
