The leaders in terms of growth in the number of offers were medical, commercial equipment and equipment for beauty salons, which showed an increase of 14, 9 and 5 times, respectively. “Today, online platforms are becoming as natural a channel for finding equipment suppliers as exhibitions or recommendations from industry participants. Choosing even complex, expensive equipment on ad sites is becoming normal. Against this background, we were able to multiply the number of professional suppliers – manufacturers and dealers of equipment, expand the equipment catalog by adding several key categories and filters,” said Ilya Dudkovsky, head of the Avito department.

The largest categories in terms of demand are industrial and commercial equipment. Also in 2023, the demand for laboratory and medical equipment tripled. Service specialists came to the conclusion that the number of professional clients, including manufacturers, suppliers and dealers in the category “Equipment and goods for business” increased 2.8 times over the year, exceeding 3 thousand.
