Avangard Kursk finished the match in front of empty stands with a score of 1:1

On April 7, Kursk hosted a football match between the teams “Avangarda” (Kursk) and “Textilshchik” (Ivanovo). Previously our edition reported that on Sunday afternoon an air raid alert was announced in the regional center and that due to the danger of a UAV attack, the game was postponed for several hours.

With the threat over, the match began at 6:00 pm without fans in the stands. Kursk football players played the game with a score of 1:1. The first ball flew into the Avangard goal. A few minutes before the final whistle, the Kursk team managed to come back and score a goal against their opponents from Ivanovo. Avant-garde player Denis Zhilmosonykh did this in the 84th minute.

Fans can get a refund for tickets purchased for the match at the Trudovye Reservi stadium next Tuesday and Wednesday. In addition, tickets sold for the game with the Tekstilshchik team continue to be valid for the next match, the Ministry of Sports of the Kursk Region reported.
