Avangard demanded that SKA refute Rotenberg’s statement about Kravets

The Omsk hockey club Avangard sent a letter to SKA, in which it demanded to refute the words of head coach Roman Rotenberg that Omsk coach Mikhail Kravets forced the players to “kill” their opponents on the ice, RIA Novosti reported. Allegedly, this is exactly what he did when he worked at the St. Petersburg club.
The reason for Rotenberg’s statement was an incident at the end of the second period. Omsk Nikita Kholodilin performed a power move against Sergei Tolchinsky. As a result, he hit the side. After the match, Rotenberg said that Kravets instructed one of the players to “kill” Tolchinsky. Rotenberg also said in his telegram channel that now the hockey player will not be able to take part in the next game.
As MK in St. Petersburg reported, the match between SKA and Avangard took place in Omsk on February 6. Meeting ended with a score of 9:5 in favor of the home team.
