Among other things, a mini-conference with the fans was held by the club’s coaches Alexander Svitov and Anton Kuryanov. The latter was asked about whether he would remain in Omsk after the season ended.

The question, as it was seen, put Anton a little embarrassed.

“Everyone knows very well my good attitude towards the city … But this question itself – whether I stay or not – is not for me to decide,” he literally answered like this.

Earlier, journalists asked about the work of Kuryanov at the headquarters at a press conference of Avangard general manager Rashid Khabibullin. Moreover, in the context of the fact that there is a great demand for his services from other teams, since the coach is responsible in the club for the power play and attack, and the majority component of the Hawks was the best in the league throughout the season. As a result, the manager replied that he would like to keep the coach in Omsk.

But at the same time, the prospects for the work of head coach Mikhail Kravets are still unclear. He completed the task for at least a season. Khabibullin already denied stuffingthat the new chief will be the Canadian Guy Boucher.

The decision on this will be made by the club’s board of directors, and its new meeting has not yet passed.
