Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg spoke in favor of continuing dialogue with Russia at international platforms, including the UN and OSCE. His words are reported by the Austrian publication SN.
“There are appropriate platforms for this, for example the UN and the OSCE,” noted the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
According to him, the UN and OSCE, as well as similar international platforms, were not “clubs of like-minded people.” Schallenberg believes that climate and disarmament issues need to be resolved, including with Russia.
It is worth noting that the Austrian diplomat previously stated the need for cooperation with the Russian Federation and China. At the same time, he admitted that relations between Vienna and Moscow will never be the same.
