Aussie and dog spent 3 months in the Pacific without food
In Sydney, athlete Tim Shaddock set off on a small raft trip from Mexico to Polynesia with his dog Bella. Suddenly, the weather turned bad and the Australian lost his food and fresh water supplies, as well as any communication devices. For more than 3 months he lived in the Pacific Ocean with his dog, eating fish and rainwater. This is reported by the 9 News channel.
The pilgrim was accidentally seen by the crew of a fishing trawler: the pilot went to look for shoals of tuna and found a single-masted sailing catamaran battered by a storm in the ocean.
Now Shaddock and his pet Bella are on board the crew that rescued them, which goes to the coast of Mexico.
“Shaddock’s vital signs are in order,” a doctor who remotely helped the sailors restore a normal diet for the Australian told the TV channel.
