ATP ranking: jump of 20 places for Adrian Mannarino, Daniil Medvedev remains world No. 1

Daniil Medvedev returns to the US Open (August 29-September 11) in the shoes of world number one. The Russian, titled last year in New York, ahead of the German Alexander Zverev by more than 1000 points (5760 units). In the top 20, only Matteo Berrettini (14th) gains a position at the expense of Pablo Carreno Busta.
Gaston loses a place
Eight Frenchmen, led by Gaël Monfils (24th), populate the top 100. Adrian Mannarino (45th), titled at Winston-Salem on Sunday, gains twenty positions. No change, however, for the others concerned, apart from the loss of a place for Hugo Gaston, now 72nd.
Another remarkable progression, that of the Serb Laslo Djere, 64th in the world after having climbed 25 ranks. Quite the opposite of the Swede Mikael Ymer (99th), very close to leaving the top 100 after a fall of 25 places.
