The Association of Tour Operators of Russia commented on the information that 68 Russian children were evicted from the Omorfi Garden Resort hotel in Turkey.
How noted in ATOR, the children were evicted on the night of 2 to 3 August due to lack of payment for accommodation. It turned out that their vacation was organized not by tour operators and not under an agreement on the provision of tourist services, but by an individual entrepreneur.
Children and counselors waited outside for a long time, and then they were transferred to the Rios Latte Beach Hotel. However, he also informed that the rooms were paid only until noon on August 5, after which the children would have to leave again.
The parents of the children stated that they were promised return tickets for the removal of their children, but they were not provided either. ATOR assumes that parents will have to take their children out at their own expense, and then claim damages.
