Athletes from Pomorye won the first medals of the Summer Paralympic Games. Pomorye athletes have two gold, two silver and five bronze awards.
The winner of the Summer Paralympic Games was the Honored Master of Sports of Russia Alexander Yaremchuk in the 1500 meters.
Galina Fedurina won the gold medal in the 50m butterfly.
In swimming at a distance of 400 meters freestyle, Nikita Pavlov took third place. At a distance of 100 meters breaststroke, the swimmer won silver.
Swimmer Maxim Moshkov won the bronze medal in the 50m backstroke.
In table tennis, silver was won by Milana Rodygina, bronze medals by Maria Saitova, Darina Kucheruk and Matvey Begoulev.
Summer Paralympic Games “We are together. Sport” will last until October 9, informs the Ministry of Sports of the Arkhangelsk Region.
