The final stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing continues in Kirovsk. The third competition day brought new medals to the representatives of Pomerania.
In the men’s 15 km classic style race, season leader Alexander Bolshunov had no equal, winning with a time of 7:18, 2 seconds. His teammates from the Arkhangelsk region team were a little behind the “king of skis” – Savely Korostelev won the silver medal, and Alexey Chervotkin won bronze.
For the girls, Veronika Stepanova brought a silver medal to the Pomorie team. The two-time champion of Kirovsk lost 13 seconds to Anastasia Kuleshova from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The third place was taken by Elizaveta Pantrina from Tyumen.
