Athletes from Yakutia won tickets to the Russian Championship

Yakut athletes achieved prize-winning results at the Far Eastern Federal District championship in wrestling among juniors and junior women under 24 years old and won tickets to the Russian championship, reports the press service of the Triumph center.
The first day of the competition took place yesterday, February 10, in Ulan-Ude.
Our athletes managed to win five gold and five silver medals.
Gold medals went to Yakut athletes: Ksenia Lekhanova (50 kg), Violetta Makharova (57 kg), Svetlana Vasilyeva (62 kg), Evgenia Ogorodnikova (65 kg) and Liliana Rozhina (72 kg).
Second place went to: Alina Krivoshapkina (50 kg), Alexandra Kopylova (53 kg), Nadezhda Kulichkina (55 kg), Borisova Kunduune (59 kg) and Nadezhda Galdina (68 kg).
It is reported that today, February 11, on the second day of the competition, the winners and prize-winners among juniors will be determined. Five Yakut wrestlers reached the finals.
