Athletes from Ugra won 99 awards at various competitions

From May 5 to May 10, Ugra athletes took part in several competitions, and brought home a total of 99 medals of various denominations.
For example, at the international tournament “Moscow Wushu Stars” the Ugra team won 16 gold, 14 silver and 15 bronze medals. At the Russian kickboxing championship the Ugra team won 8 gold, 10 silver and 5 bronze medals.
Our athletes also performed well at the Asian Kettlebell Lifting Championship – they put two “gold” and one “silver” into the piggy bank. And the championship of Asia in kettlebell lifting brought two “gold” and three “silver”.
For the first time, the Ugra team managed to take the medal of the All-Russian Breaking Competition – the bronze medal was won by Taisiya Zbyrya from Nizhnevartovsk. Another successful performance was at the national championship in mixed martial arts, where our wrestlers took three bronze medals.
“Special” athletes excelled at the Russian Powerlifting Championship for people with intellectual disabilities. In the team standings, the Ugra team became the first, they won seven gold, four silver and six bronze medals. At the national championship in the same discipline, the youth team became the bronze medalist of the competition, winning one silver and one bronze medal.
