Young Sandai wrestlers from the Kola Arctic won nine medals at the Russian Championship in Moscow. Further, they are waiting for international competitions in the capital and a tournament in Kingisepp.

On Sunday, April 30, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported on the high results shown by polar young athletes at the Russian championship in wushu.

The competitions were held in Moscow, they were attended by children from 48 regions of Russia aged 12 to 17 years. Representatives of the Murmansk region were able to win nine medals.

“Polar sportsmen gave their best at 100℅ and showed excellent results at the main competitions of the country,” commented Alexei Nyunkov, President of the Regional Wushu Federation, on the result.

It is noted that in the near future the guys are waiting for international competitions in Moscow and a tournament in Kingisepp.

Recall, earlier “MK in Murmansk” toldthat the Northern Lights powerlifting competition will be held in the Murmansk region for the first time.
