Athletes from the Kursk region brought medals from karate competitions from Minsk and Orel

Young athletes from the Kursk region recently took part in martial arts competitions. For example, Dmitry Naydenov from Kursk won silver in the International Kyokushin Competition “Belarus Open Cup” among juniors aged 16-17, held in Minsk.
At the same time, the national team of the Nightingale Territory brought several medals at once from Orel, where the Russian championship in all-style karate among boys and girls aged 12-13 was held. The Kursk region was represented by students of the Vityaz Association and the sports school named after N.I. Solodukhin.
Daria Anikushina, Polina Fursova and Valeria Goncharova won the first place in the team fights for girls in the weight up to 60 kg. Also, Alexander Vekshin was awarded gold in competitions among young men up to 40 kg.
Boys Alexander Otenko (up to 40 kg) and Matvey Arseniev (up to 60 kg) took second places. And Yegor Lukyanchikov (up to 47 kg) brought bronze from the Oryol competitions to his small homeland.
